Blockchain solutions are a trend which, in the past, caused ripples especially concerning the financial sector – however, the potential of the technology and its diverse innovations goes far beyond the development and employment of cryptocurrencies. Further blockchain technologies such as smart contracts, alias “Blockchain 2.0”, are a key aspect regarding different challenges we are facing in times of globalization and digitalization.

Together with our research partners, Fraunhofer FIT, Fraunhofer IML, Fraunhofer IPT, Demofabrik Aachen (Website in german only), TIME Research Area and FIR e.V. at RWTH Aachen University, we will start our consortium project “Blockchain for Industrial Applications” in March 2018.

Become a partner of a consortium of international and cross industry companies:

  • Receive a detailed overview on innovations, trends and applications of the blockchain technology in industries such as automotive, logistics, consumer goods, machinery and plant engineering, pharmaceutical or chemistry.
  • Get to know the technological as well as the economic benefits and challenges behind the industrial trend.
  • Identify new possible applications, target markets and specific tools, which are relevant for your company.
