What are the new, innovative materials of the future? Can they positively influence your product development? And which applications benefit the most from the new material properties?

Together with you as part of a consortium of international and cross-industry companies, we open up “Advanced Materials” for you. Our well-known research partners are the Fraunhofer IPT, the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

Application fields and material studies

Get to know a variety of application fields for new materials in different areas such as construction, automotive, healthcare, aerospace and energy.

With the help of detailed material studies and the evaluation of possible processing and development potentials, you receive a structured overview of well-engineered and innovative materials – eg. TRIPLEX steel, aerogels, metal foams, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), self-healing materials, shape memory alloys and many more. At the same time, you get the opportunity to network with industry stakeholders as well as with technology experts.
