In a consortium project together with KEX Knowledge Exchange AG, Fraunhofer IIS/EAS supports AI users with a large portfolio of measures to further develop their competencies in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Interested companies are invited to contact us now. The project start is in September 2020.

Companies that already use methods of Artificial Intelligence or are interested in doing so can now become part of the consortium project Saxony "AI: understand - apply - profit" and effectively use the enormous potential of AI technologies for themselves. Together with the professional knowledge service provider KEX AG, the Fraunhofer IIS/EAS from Dresden supports companies with this project to find their individual optimal way to use AI, to use it profitably and to secure competitive advantages. The size of the company is not decisive for project participation.

In a consortium project, the participants determine the direction and priorities of the work. On the one hand, the companies receive valuable know-how in the form of training and an application study. But the project also offers numerous other added values for the establishment of AI in the companies. As a result, they not only receive a comprehensive overview of relevant AI application possibilities, the current market situation, trends and business models. In addition to individual "AI Readiness Workshops" for each company, the project managers also point out very concrete fields of action and tailor-made solutions, for example to accelerate the company's own product or process development. A selection of jointly defined application examples is also implemented as prototypes during the project.

In addition, connecting activities of the partners to support each individual are to be continued even after the end of the project. For this purpose, further comprehensive AI projects are to be initiated or the design of an AI application centre as well as precisely tailored further training formats jointly conceived.

The consortium project, which will run for nine months, will start at the AI Innovation Days on September 16 and 17, 2020, which will be a combination of a live event in Dresden and a virtual format and will provide the framework for the official project launch. Here, the participating partners can already establish contacts with top-class AI actors from business, research and politics, who will share their expertise, best practice examples and strategic considerations with the event participants.
